Effective March 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using BearGig, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@beargig.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

4. Gigs & Transactions

BearGig is a marketplace platform only. We do not employ users, set wages, guarantee work quality, or handle payments between parties. Any transaction, contract, or dispute is solely between the poster and the respondent. We are not liable for the outcome of any gig arrangement.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or deceptive gigs
• Solicit or provide illegal services
• Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
• Share another user's personal information without consent
• Attempt to circumvent our systems or access other accounts
• Post content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights

6. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant BearGig a limited, non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content within the platform. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of your content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

7. Independent Contractor Disclaimer

BearGig does not employ, supervise, or direct any user performing gig work. Users offering services are independent contractors, not employees of BearGig. BearGig makes no representations about the quality, safety, or legality of services listed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BearGig and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including disputes between users, lost earnings, or property damage.
